About the Role

Join the founding engineering team at a Series A AI business intelligence startup building AI-native analytics tools. You will work across the product and codebase to deliver scalable systems for data-intensive analytical workloads.

What You'll Do

Build and scale data pipelines for latency-critical analytical workloads.
Contribute across the codebase and product rather than working in a narrow silo.
Partner with engineering, product, company leadership, and customers to shape the product and engineering roadmap.
Design secure, cost-efficient, scalable systems on modern cloud infrastructure.
Help shape the team's engineering culture and technology choices.

What We're Looking For

At least 4 years of backend engineering experience in product, platform, or infrastructure environments.
Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with experience building or supporting large-scale data pipelines.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, physics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, with strong technical fundamentals.
Experience in a startup or other fast-paced environment, and a track record of working on high-performing engineering teams.

Compensation

& Benefits

Base salary: $250,000 to $300,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available. H-1B transfers are considered case by case; OPT candidates should have at least two H-1B lottery attempts remaining.

Location

Hybrid role based in San Mateo, California, United States.
