What will you do at Jacam Catalyst?

Essential Functions:

* Configure and install network devices and services (e.g., Routers, Switches,

Firewalls, Access Points, VPN, QoS)

* Diagnose and resolve networking issues promptly

* Collaborate with employees and management to address network-related problems

* Implement disaster recovery procedures

* Installation of ethernet and fiber cabling

* Perform maintenance and system upgrades including firmware upgrades, patches,

hot fixes and security configurations.

* Monitor network resource utilization, trending and capacity planning.

* Manage vendors for pricing, installation, maintenance and problem resolution.

Qualifications

* 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience.
* CCNP or higher certification
* Deep understanding of network protocols
* Strong CLI skills
* Solid understanding of OSI and TCP/IP model
* Extensive experience with monitoring, network diagnostics and network
analytical tools
* Willing to travel 30% monthly
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
* Must possess a valid driver’s license
* Onsite Job at Gardendale Texas 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday
* Some overtime required including weekends
* No remote worker applications

* Physical Abilities: Lift and carry 50 pounds in various packaging
Other Physical Abilities:
* Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - safety goggles,
goggles, etc.
* Vision - Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception
* Sense of Sound - 55 decibels, adult conversations
* Sense of Smell - Able to detect odors.
