This role is the local engine that connects Japanese creators with BeReal's global performance creative operations.As an Influencer Content Associate at Voodoo, based remotely in Japan, you will play a key role in building and managing a network of Japanese influencers, creators, and actors to produce high-quality video ads for BeReal at scale.

Your responsibilities will include:Identifying high-potential creators across Japan's social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube Shorts, LINE)Engaging and contracting creators, ensuring alignment with BeReal's brand, brief, and performance objectivesWorking with local directors and actors when video production requires on-the-ground oversight to ensure quality and vision are metHandling video editing of created content to refine produced videosTracking and analyzing content performance, while building a CRM database of Japan-based creators for future collaborationsReporting on production outputs and performance metrics to the global team (in English), providing insights and recommendations grounded in local market contextCollaborating closely with the global Product, User Acquisition, and Creative teams to align Japan creator content with product-specific needs and objectivesAdapting global creative concepts to the Japanese market and flagging when local formats, codes, or platform behaviours require a different approachStaying up-to-date with Japan-specific social media trends and competitor strategies to continuously discover and implement top-performing conceptsBecoming an expert in Japanese UGC and creator culture, ensuring BeReal's content stays native, relevant, and high-performing in the market Profile2–4 years of experience working with influencers or creators in Japan, with a strong understanding of the local creator ecosystemExperience in the mobile apps or social media industry is preferredData-driven and structured — comfortable reading performance metrics and translating them into creator briefs and production decisionsCreative and passionate about social media, with a genuine feel for what works with Japanese audiencesEntrepreneurial mindset, adaptable to fast-paced environments with a proactive approach to problem-solvingProven ability to work effectively in distributed international teams, with strong collaboration and async communication skillsFluency in Japanese is required; professional-level English is required to work daily with the global team
