This is a hands-on startup role: you will move quickly between scientific questions, experimental design, wet-lab work, data analysis, and decisions about what to test next.
What you’ll do Turn biological questions and AI-generated hypotheses into rigorous experiments Design and execute in vitro studies and help develop in vivo programs Analyze results and feed experimental evidence back into our AI systems Develop assays, models, and experimental workflows from scratch Help prioritize targets and therapeutic approaches Build our early wet-lab capabilities and scientific partnerships Work directly with the founders and scientific leadership What we’re looking for PhD or equivalent research experience in immunology, autoimmunity, T1D, beta-cell biology, cell biology, molecular biology, or related fields Strong hands-on wet-lab experience Ability to independently design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment Excited about combining AI and experimental biology High scientific rigor, curiosity, and willingness to challenge assumptions One of our founders has lived with Type 1 diabetes for 17 years.
